Swift action for Borisovka-1 is preferable over deploying emergency services during wintertime.
In the Yakutian town of Borisovka-1, residents are expressing concern over the lack of preparation for the upcoming heating season. The managing company, "Vozhdenie," is under scrutiny for its alleged failure to fulfill its duties.
According to reports, the boiler rooms in Borisovka-1 are in a state of disrepair, with half-disassembled boilers, collapsing floors, and the absence of essential safety features such as emergency windows and carbon monoxide detectors. Alexander Valentinovich has highlighted these violations, raising alarm about the potential risks.
The prosecutor's inspection in Borisovka-1, Yakutia, commenced on September 5, 2020, focusing on the condition of houses and boiler rooms. The inspection was prompted by the numerous complaints from residents and the reports by the "Yakutia - Feedback" Telegram channel.
The Yakutsk mayor's office has acknowledged the unpreparedness of the houses for winter, and the Yakutia State Construction Supervision Department has sent a warning to the United Energy Company (UК "Vozhdenie") about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements for the heating season preparation.
Residents have been turning to various instances for help, but no comprehensive solution has been found yet. Alexander Severyanov, a deputy of the Yakutsk City Duma, has confirmed that the houses in Borisovka-1 are not ready for winter. He has also expressed concerns that if the issues are not addressed promptly, there may be an emergency situation, a scandal on federal channels, forced relocation of residents, and houses being frozen, which would ultimately cost more than the current repairs.
The UК "Vozhdenie" has already collected money from the residents for the repair of the boiler rooms, but there are concerns that the money may not have been properly utilized. The cost of repairing the gas equipment in Borisovka-1 needs to be determined.
The situation in Borisovka-1 has raised alarm among residents, who fear the possibility of losing heat, water, and gas. The news is spreading rapidly on various social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, VKontakte, Classmates, and Twitter.
As the winter approaches, the residents of Borisovka-1 are hoping for a swift resolution to ensure their homes are ready for the cold season ahead. The prosecuting authority has initiated proceedings against the company "Vozhdenie," but the outcome remains to be seen.
