SWK extends an invitation for the inaugural job fair event

On September 13th, 2025, Stadtwerke Gießen (SWG) invites everyone interested in strengthening their team to attend the SWG Career Day. The event will take place at the SWG premises in Lahnstraße, with the presentations and guided tours scheduled to begin at 11:30, 12:00, 13:00, 14:30, and 14:00.

This career day is designed for those seeking apprenticeship positions, internships, career starts, or professional reorientation. Employees from the personnel department at SWG will be available at the recruiting stand to answer questions and discuss job options. A presentation about career paths and workplaces at SWG will take place at 12:00 and 2:00 pm.

The SWG Career Day offers a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive picture of SWG. Visitors can explore various workstations and witness the typical tasks performed by SWG's trainees. Guided tours through the SWG training center are also available at 11:30, 13:00, and 14:30. Vanessa Lischke, responsible for training and personnel recruitment at SWG, will explain the special aspects of the workshops.

SWK is involved in the secure supply of energy and water, local transport, and the operation of baths. The activities at SWK are varied and remain exciting throughout one's career. Working for SWK is considered responsible and meaningful.

In addition to the professional aspects, the SWG Career Day also offers a fun and family-friendly atmosphere. Sausages, waffles, ice cream, and various drinks will be available at affordable prices. The Gießen 46ers will bring a basketball hoop, TSV Klein-Linden will set up a goal wall, and there will be a SWG wheel of fortune and a photo box for family photos.
