Teenage children Lorenz, 19, and Tate, 17, of Rio Ferdinand, and his wife Kate Ferdinand, join forces with their parents in Dubai, having flown out for a visit, following the couple's recent move to embrace a lavish new lifestyle.

In a recent move, former football star Rio Ferdinand and his wife, Kate Ferdinand, have relocated from south-east London to a lavish £6.5 million mansion in the exclusive gated community of Al Barari, Dubai. The family's new home serves as the backdrop for their latest Instagram posts, showcasing their transition to life in the Middle East.

Kate Ferdinand, looking fabulous in a stylish beige cargo maxi skirt and white T-shirt, captured a selfie for an outfit check. A different clip showed her enjoying a family reunion with Rio's older children, including Lorenz, who recently signed his first professional footballing contract with Brighton in the UK. Tate, 17, who plays for the Under 18s Brighton team, also joined the family reunion in Dubai.

Rio, too, has been sharing glimpses of their new life, posing with their adorable pooch on his shoulder and even posing for the camera while their pet rested on his shoulder. The family has also been enjoying the warm waters of Dubai's Gulf, as evidenced by a series of pictures posted on Kate's Instagram carousel.

The move to Dubai was motivated by the quality of education for Rio's children, with Lorenz, Tate, and Tia now attending Repton School in Dubai. Rio admitted that this was a key factor in their decision to relocate. He also praised the English curriculum in Dubai's schools, stating that it is done differently but that teachers are valued and paid better.

Rio recently parted ways with TNT Sports at the end of last season to focus on his business interests. The family's new life in Dubai seems to be a fresh start for them, with Kate sharing a weekend update on Instagram, quoting a line from Winnie the Pooh: "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."

Elsewhere, Kate showed she did not miss her gruelling gym workouts as she filmed herself taking on a demanding session. Despite the change of scenery, it seems the Ferdinand family is settling into their new life in Dubai quite well.
