Teenager injures himself in a bicycle accident
A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday, August 19th, when a 14-year-old Belgian boy was involved in a bike crash on the L245 near Hellenthal.
The cycling group, which consisted of children and teenagers, was traveling from Belgium towards Hellenthal on the L245 at around 9:40 AM. The exact cause of the accident remains unknown.
The young boy was riding a racing bike and, as he attempted to break his fall during the crash, he sustained injuries. He was quickly transported to the hospital via ambulance.
The name of the 14-year-old boy has not been made publicly available. The traffic police have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the cause of the accident.
