The Bavarians face competition as HSV works towards challenging them
HSV Prepares for Tough Battle Against FC Bayern
The Hamburger SV (HSV) team is gearing up for an intense clash against FC Bayern, scheduled for this Saturday at 6:30 PM. The upcoming game, streamed live on MOPO.de, is expected to be the HSV's toughest away game of the season.
During the unexpected training week, the HSV team and coaching staff visited the "Tough Gym" in Altona for an intense session on Monday. Led by combat sports coach Ali Reza, the training included activities like boxing and working on punching bags, hinting at a competitive match against FC Bayern.
The unusual training session was a change during the international break, as suggested by Merlin Polzin and his team. This type of training, focusing on physical activities, was also used by HSV in May 2023, during the promotion race. Former HSV coach Tim Walter also utilized this unique training method.
The HSV team and coaching staff are expected to be more motivated for the game due to the unexpected training week. The fierce battle for squad places in the HSV team is expected to claim up to seven victims.
Several national players are expected to join the HSV team this week. Daniel Peretz (loaned from Bayern Munich), Jordan Torunarigha, Luka Vuskovic, Warmed Omari, Giorgi Gocholeishvili, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Fábio Vieira, Nicolai Remberg, Nicolás Capaldo, Yussuf Poulsen, and Rayan Philippe are among those likely to return. Warmed Omari and Giorgi Gocholeishvili are expected to join the team on Tuesday, while two more national players, Warmed Omari and Giorgi Gocholeishvili, are likely to join the HSV team on Thursday.
Miro Muheim and keeper Daniel Peretz are expected to train with the HSV team on Wednesday, having been in action with their national teams in the World Cup qualifiers on Monday evening. Alexander Røssing-Lelesiit (U19 Norway) and Aboubaka Soumahoro (U20 France) have already mixed in with the HSV team on Monday. Fabio Baldé and Luka Vuskovic are expected to join the team on Thursday.
The HSV team will train again on Tuesday at 11 AM, before another session on Wednesday. The players' participation in these training sessions will not affect the game against FC Bayern.
The HSV team's preparation for the upcoming game is a clear indication of their determination and resilience. Fans can look forward to an exciting and competitive match against FC Bayern.
