The mayor inaugurates the New Town Festival on a Saturday.
The city of Halle-Neustadt is gearing up for an exciting day as the 29th Neustadt Festival kicks off on Saturday, September 6th, at the city square in front of the Neustadt-Centrum.
The festival, running from 10:30 AM to 7 PM, will feature a varied stage program, with Mayor Dr. Alexander Vogt opening the event with a welcoming speech at 10:30 AM.
From 10 AM, the municipal GWG Halle-Neustadt will present family-friendly participation actions at the festival. Graffiti workshops, breakdance shows, and screen printing stations will also be available for those looking to explore their creative side.
For the more athletically inclined, the "GWG Jam" will take place at the skate park on the Magistrale. Registration for this event, featuring contests for scooters and inline skating, will be on-site from 12 PM to 1 PM. The Hallesche FC and the speed skaters from ISC will be creating a sporting atmosphere at the festival.
