The nation encourages the digital transformation of commercial enterprises
The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour, and Tourism in Baden-Württemberg has launched a new call for funding for regional Digital Hubs. This third round of funding aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across industries in their digitalization journey.
A total of 5.3 million euros will be available until 2028, with the funding divided among eleven regional Digital Hubs across the state. Each Digital Hub will receive up to 500,000 euros, and the deadline for submitting project outlines is October 24, 2025, at 12:00 noon. The full funding call and application documents are available for download online.
The Digital Hubs serve as information and experimentation spaces, making the opportunities of digital technologies tangible for SMEs. Their goal is to connect the existing strengths of Baden-Württemberg's SMEs with the opportunities of new digital technologies like Artificial Intelligence and the metaverse. The projects are scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2026 and have a duration of two years.
This funding call is aimed at both existing regional Digital Hubs and institutions that want to set up a new regional Digital Hub. The Digital Hubs serve as a platform for SMEs to explore, experiment, and implement digital technologies, ultimately helping them to stay competitive in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
The search results do not provide specific information on which institutions or persons are eligible to receive funding. However, interested parties are encouraged to review the funding call and application documents for more detailed information.
