The Walt Disney Company has made an exciting announcement at the recent D23 event, revealing the title and release date of the highly-anticipated sixth installment in the Ice Age animated franchise. The new film, titled "Ice Age: Boiling Point," is set to hit theaters on February 5, 2027.

This latest adventure in the Ice Age series takes the beloved characters to never-before-seen corners of the treacherous Lost World. Fans can look forward to seeing their favourite characters, including a Sloth named Sid, a mammoth named Manny, and a saber-tooth tiger named Diego, voiced by John Leguizamo, Ray Romano, and Denis Leary, respectively.

Blue Sky Studios, now part of Disney, is the production company involved in the development of the sequel. The confirmation of "Ice Age: Boiling Point" was first made at the D23 event in 2024. The film was initially set for a December 18, 2026, release, but a new date has been announced.
