The question at hand revolves around the extent of antifascist measures and actions.
On Thursday, 18th September 2025, an event organised by The Turning Point website will take place at UT Connewitz, Wolfgang-Heinze-Str. 12a, 04277 Leipzig. This event, free for attendance, will commence at 5 PM with assistance available for questions about website subscriptions and digital reading.
At 7 PM, a panel discussion will take place. Among the attendees will be Konrad Litschko, an editor in the reportage and research department at The Turning Point, and Juliane Nagel, a member of the Saxon state parliament for Die LINKE. Also present will be Wolfram Jarosch, a biology and chemistry teacher in Jena and the father of Maja T., who has been in detention for over a year, facing up to 24 years in prison.
The weekly print and ePaper editions of The Turning Point website will continue, with the daily print edition ceasing publication on October 17, 2025, and becoming available as an ePaper thereafter.
Reservation is required for the event, which can be done through the reservation tool from Pretix. It is worth noting that there are more young antifascists in detention than in a long time, accused of using violence against right-wing extremists. Dozens of other antifascists are facing trials in Dresden and Düsseldorf in the near future.
Lina E. from Leipzig is currently serving a five-year sentence. Anne Fromm heads the reportage and research department at The Turning Point, and will likely play a significant role in the upcoming event.
For those who require assistance with digital reading and subscription issues, help will be available at the event from 5 PM. This event promises to be an enlightening discussion on current affairs, and we encourage everyone to attend.
