Fall Out Boy Announces Deluxe Editions of "From Under The Cork Tree"

Fall Out Boy is taking fans on a journey back to 2005 with the release of deluxe editions of their iconic album, "From Under The Cork Tree." The limited edition sets, scheduled for release on October 17, promise to be a treasure trove for dedicated fans.

The album, which landed in the Top 10 of the Billboard 100 chart, features the classic singles "Sugar We're Going Down" and "Dance, Dance." The new editions will include the story behind the creation of "Sugar We're Going Down," a song that has been hailed as a game-changer by the band's members themselves.

According to Pete Wentz, the frontman of the band, the creation of "Sugar We're Going Down" was a unique experience, feeling like being on the other side of a precipice. The song almost didn't happen during the writing process for "From Under The Cork Tree." Wentz was intrigued by the chorus of the song and asked Patrick Stump to remember it, which he eventually did.

The limited edition sets will come in three formats: a 3-LP vinyl set, a 2-CD set, and a deluxe box set that includes all of the above. Each set will feature a comic book cover inspired by "A Little Less Than Sixteen Candles, A Little More Than 'Touch Me."

In addition to the music, the deluxe box sets will include a letter from Pete Wentz, a "Dance, Dance" prom photo frame, and various B-sides, covers, alternative mixes, remixes, and live BBC radio recordings.

The success of "From Under The Cork Tree" catapulted Fall Out Boy to worldwide fame, with the frontmen, Patrick Stump and Pete Wentz, gracing magazine covers globally. In 2006, the band even received a Best New Artist Grammy nomination for the album.

In an interview in 2018, Patrick Stump stated that the song "Sugar, We're Goin Down" changed his life and that he owes a large part of his music career to that song. The band's statement about the album reads, "This record changed our lives forever."

The new editions of "From Under The Cork Tree" are now available for pre-order. Don't miss this opportunity to revisit one of the most iconic albums in Fall Out Boy's discography.
