The Rosebud establishment in Fulda will shut down this coming Sunday
The Fritz-Kunze-Bad in Heringen is preparing for a special event, as the city has announced provisions for dog owners during the upcoming dog swimming day on September 6th. This natural outdoor pool, not operated by RhönEnergie, will remain open for the bathing season, unlike the Rosenbad in Fulda.
Initially, there was a possibility of extending the bathing season at the Rosenbad by one week. However, due to the forecasted autumnal temperatures and the expected low turnout with the forecasted weather conditions, the city's operator, RhönEnergie, has announced that the Rosenbad will close for the bathing season earlier than initially planned. The bathing season at the Rosenbad will end on Sunday, September 7th, at 8 PM, and the pool will reopen for the winter season at a later date.
Meanwhile, the Fritz-Kunze-Bad will be closed for maintenance from September 6th to September 22nd. Despite this closure, the decision to allow dogs in the water at the Fritz-Kunze-Bad on September 6th is not influenced by forecasted weather conditions.
In a separate announcement, the city's homepage has also revealed provisions for the physical well-being of owners during the dog swimming event at the Fritz-Kunze-Bad. The bathing season at the Fritz-Kunze-Bad does not end on September 7th, as initially speculated, and will continue beyond the maintenance period.
On the other hand, the natural outdoor pool in Heringen will close for the summer season on Friday, September 5th. The decision to close the Rosenbad in Fulda for the bathing season was likely made due to the expected low turnout with the forecasted weather conditions.
This news serves as a reminder for bathers to make the most of the remaining days at the Fritz-Kunze-Bad before its maintenance period and the first day of the winter season, which will be on September 23rd. For dog owners in Heringen, the opportunity to enjoy a day of swimming with their pets at the Fritz-Kunze-Bad is not to be missed on September 6th.
