Thief On the Run: Burglary in Bocholt - Crook Fleeing Leaves Behind Stolen Items
In the early hours of August 25, 20225, a burglary occurred at a shop located on Osterstraße in Bocholt. The incident took place at 1:15 AM, and the Circular Police Authority Borken is seeking more witnesses to gather more information about the crime.
The unknown perpetrator forced open the business door, took a cash register, and attempted to make a getaway on an e-scooter. However, during the chase, both the cash register and the e-scooter were dropped, and the suspect ran away over a high fence.
Vigilant witnesses saw the crime and gave chase, and another witness even shouted at the fleeing suspect. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, the suspect has not been identified as of yet.
