In the vibrant cultural landscape of Delhi, art enthusiasts are invited to immerse themselves in the exhibition "Medley 3", showcasing the work of three self-taught artists: Atoshi Shyam, Arun KT, and Deepak Joshi. The exhibition is taking place at Alliance Francaise, Vasant Nagar, and is free to attend from August 29 to August 31.

Atoishi Shyam, a contemporary dancer and painter, is the first artist on display. Her retrospective spans from 2004 to the present, offering a glimpse into her creative evolution. Initially, her work was characterised by experimentation with various mediums and subjects. However, after working with NGOs supporting neurodiverse children and adults, her artwork has become more intricate. Shyam primarily uses acrylic and sometimes oil on canvas and walls for her paintings. Her current work shows a clearer style and sense of ease.

One of Shyam's most recent pieces, Magnolias IV, features larger magnolias captured behind snowflakes. This fourth painting in the series is a testament to her mastery of capturing delicate beauty against a changing backdrop.

Arun KT, another artist in Medley 3, is known for his use of color as emotional language in his work. His series, "Prayers of Dragonflies", was inspired by his childhood experiences with dragonflies and their symbolism. The dragonflies in the series represent a prayer for the coming of a Symbiocene, an age where life thrives again in interdependence.

Deepak Joshi, the third artist, has created a series of captivating magnolia paintings. His work is a meditation on beauty and delicate flora, captured with both force and against changing backdrops. Magnolias X in the series was the first to experiment with background colors, featuring a blueish backdrop.

The "Medley 3" exhibition will be inaugurated by actor Sudha Belawadi. For more updates, one can join or follow the relevant social media channels. The Vastrabharana 2025 exhibition, which reimagines traditional handloom and handicrafts in Bengaluru, is a separate event and has no search results available at this time.

As the art world in Delhi continues to thrive, "Medley 3" offers a unique opportunity to witness the raw talent and creativity of three self-taught artists. Don't miss out on this chance to be a part of this artistic journey.
