Gaming Hall of Fame Class of 2024 Honours Industry Pioneers
The Gaming Hall of Fame Class of 2024 has announced its selection of esteemed individuals who have made significant contributions to the gaming industry. The honourees include Jim Allen, Debi Nutton, and Alan Feldman.
Jim Allen, Chairman of Hard Rock International and Hard Rock Digital, CEO of Seminole Gaming, and Former Chairman of the American Gaming Association, is one of the honorees. Allen led the tribe's 2007 acquisition of Hard Rock International, marking the first acquisition of a major international company by a North American Indian tribe. He has overseen all gaming, hospitality, and entertainment operations for the Seminole Tribe of Florida since 2001 and has led the expansion of the company's entertainment offerings to sports and sports betting.
Debi Nutton, Board Member of Everi Holdings, Executive Coach-Consultant, and Former Casino Operations Executive at MGM Resorts and Wynn Resorts, is another honouree. Nutton began her career in the gaming industry in 1980 as one of the few female dice dealers on the Las Vegas Strip. She notably contributed to the opening team of The Mirage in 1989, where she distinguished herself as the sole female dice pit manager at the time.
Alan Feldman, Director of Strategic Initiatives and Distinguished Fellow in Responsible Gaming at UNLV's International Gaming Institute, and Former Executive at MGM Resorts International, is another honouree. Feldman was instrumental in launching GameSense, a pioneering initiative that promotes healthy gambling behaviors across all MGM U.S. properties. He currently serves as a Director of Strategic Initiatives and Distinguished Fellow in Responsible Gaming at UNLV's International Gaming Institute.
The selection of Hall of Fame honorees is done by an independent panel of gaming executives. The Gaming Hall of Fame honours leaders who have had a distinctive impact on the industry's success. The Class of 2024 will be recognised at an invitation-only induction ceremony during G2E 2024 in Las Vegas this October. Additional information about each inductee's accomplishments can be found, and headshots can be downloaded for editorial use.
The American Gaming Association (AGA) fosters a policy and business environment where legal, regulated gaming thrives. The AGA's diverse membership leads the $329 billion industry and supports 1.8 million jobs across the country. Feldman, in particular, is a globally sought-after speaker on responsible gaming and holds key advisory roles in the industry.
