TikTok Launches New Feature for College Students to Connect on Campus

Social media giant TikTok has partnered with student discount platform Unidays to launch a new feature aimed at facilitating connections among college students at their respective institutions.

The new feature allows users to login, select their profiles, add their school, and graduation year. To access their school’s page, users are required to supply a university email address. This enables students to browse their school’s page and view other students graduating at their institution on the same year.

Unidays, a platform that provides discounts on products and helps verify student statuses, is part of the services that partnered with TikTok to verify the student status of users. The partnership enables the feature to be available to more than 6,000 institutions.

The new TikTok feature is designed for college students to connect with each other on campus. It is hoped that this will help students to build a sense of community, make new friends, and potentially form study groups or clubs.

TikTok has become increasingly popular among young people, and the new feature is an innovative way to engage with this demographic. By partnering with Unidays, TikTok is able to offer a secure and verified way for students to connect with each other on the platform.

The feature is a welcome addition to TikTok’s offerings, and is sure to be popular among college students looking to connect with their peers on campus. With more than 6,000 institutions now able to access the feature, it is likely that many students will take advantage of this opportunity to build connections and community on the platform.
