In a series of recent developments, various political figures in New York City find themselves at the centre of speculation and intrigue.

Reports suggest that the rumor about White House offering Mayor Eric Adams an administration job may not have originated from John Catsimatidis, as previously believed. Instead, it is more likely that this rumor was planted by a rival candidate, aiming to disrupt Adams' campaign.

Meanwhile, Zohran Mamdani, a prominent figure in the city's political landscape, has been making headlines for his strong stance against election interference and meddling. In a recent emergency press conference, Mamdani condemned the White House for alleged election meddling, though no explicit evidence of such interference was provided.

Mamdani's past actions reflect a clear reluctance towards participating in unofficial debates during the general-election season, and he has been vocal in his criticism of former Governor Andrew Cuomo, refusing to engage in local debates during the primary.

Cuomo, on the other hand, might be open to other jobs to revive his political career, with possible roles such as ambassador to Italy and the Vatican being suggested. However, there is no indication that Mamdani has been offered any such position, nor is there any evidence that he has been named as an ambassador for Palestine, as implied by some reports.

Interestingly, Hamas is rumoured to have positive feelings towards Mamdani being offered the position of ambassador to Palestine, but no official confirmation has been made on this matter.

Elsewhere, President Donald Trump is reportedly brainstorming ways to save the city, following conversations with figures like John Catsimatidis. However, it seems that Trump does not see a way to get Curtis Sliwa to drop out of the race, as Sliwa has stated that he will only leave if he is "hit by a Mack truck."

Mamdani's lifelong dream could be fulfilled by being offered the position of ambassador to Palestine, but he has been collaborating with nearly all his Democratic primary rivals and the Working Families Party in Operation "Don't Rank Evil Andrew" to derail former Governor Cuomo.

In the midst of these political manoeuvres, Mamdani has ruled out showing up for any "unofficial" debates during the general-election season, maintaining his stance against election meddling and interference.
