In the picturesque town of Roetz, the annual Schwarzwhirberglauf took place on a 9-kilometer course this year, attracting a total of 70 participants. Among them were top runners from the Czech Republic, including Pittr Lukas, who secured his second consecutive victory in the race.

Lukas, a seasoned athlete, completed the course in an impressive time of 1:11:00 hours, beating his closest competitor, Helmut Schneider, who finished in 2nd place with a time of 1:11:05 hours. The identity of the runner who took 3rd place in the men's category remains undetermined, as the provided search results only named the top two finishers, Jonas Steindl in 1st and Leo Reitlmann in 2nd.

Schneider, however, showed significant improvement from his performance last year, where he finished in 3rd place overall. Another notable competitor was Alois Ferstl, who finished in 5th place with a time of 1:14:49 hours. Unfortunately, Ferstl did not manage to repeat his 5th place finish from last year, slipping to 6th place in this year's race.

In the women's category, Sigrid Schulz from Austria clinched the overall win with a time of 1:11:44 hours. Schulz was closely followed by Gerti, who also landed in the front field of the race, finishing in 2nd place in the women's category. Gerti's exact position in the overall standings is not specified.

The Nordic Walking Team Sport Ferstl also participated in the Schwarzwhirberglauf, with 3 of its members taking part in the race. While the team's results are not detailed, it's clear that the competition was fierce, with newcomer Maria Berger making a strong debut, finishing the race in 7th place.

This year marked a historic moment for the Schwarzwhirberglauf, as a participant from Austria won the race for the first time since its inception. As the dust settles on the race, athletes and spectators alike look forward to next year's event, eager to see who will claim victory on the challenging 9-kilometer course.
