Traffic accident on the A42 near Oberhausen leaves motorcyclist critically injured, as reported by the motorway police in Düsseldorf

The motorcyclist, a 71-year-old man from Gelsenkirchen, was traveling on the A42 towards Dortmund when he suddenly veered onto the left lane, colliding with an Audi. The Audi was driven by a 27-year-old from Gladbeck.
As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist was thrown into a spin and fell off. He sustained severe injuries and was immediately transported to a clinic by ambulance. The car driver, on the other hand, remained unharmed.
