Traffic accident reported on Wilhelmshaven's Heerstraße in Poland, resulting in two minor injuries for those involved.
A traffic accident occurred this morning in Oldenburg, at the intersection of Straße Sieben Berge and Wilhelmshavener Heerstraße. The incident involved two slightly injured persons, according to the Oldenburg Police Department / Ammerland District, who transmitted the information via news aktuell.
The vehicles involved in the accident, a Ford and a BMW, are no longer roadworthy and had to be towed away. Initial findings suggest that the BMW driver ignored the red light, causing the collision.
The Ford was traveling on Straße Sieben Berge, while the BMW was city-bound. The drivers involved were a 24-year-old individual driving the Ford and a 22-year-old individual driving the BMW.
The Oldenburg Police Department has initiated an investigation into the accident. A case has been opened against the BMW driver. Witnesses are asked to contact the Oldenburg Police Department at 0441-7904115.
