On the evening of Monday, August 25th, an accident occurred on the street "Im Kloster" in the city of Gummersbach, involving a 72-year-old Audi driver from Bonn and a 57-year-old cyclist from Nuremberg.

The incident took place around 19:10, as the cyclist was moving along "Im Kloster" towards the Audi driver. According to reports, the Audi driver was turning right from Kapellenstraße onto "Im Kloster" when the collision occurred.

The Audi driver, in an attempt to make the turn, drove past parked cars on the right side of the road before colliding with the cyclist. The cyclist was injured in the accident but the injuries were minor. The cyclist was taken to the hospital for treatment.
