Traffic Diversion Ahead: Construction Blocks Road Access
In the coming weeks, passengers using bus line 910 in Nuremberg will experience some changes due to construction on Wildensorger Street. The closure of the street is scheduled from August 13th to August 20th, 2025, and will affect the service on this bus line.
From August 13th to 19th, only one on-demand taxi (ALT) will operate on line 910, following the holiday schedule. Passengers are advised to book their trip at least 30 minutes before departure by calling 0951/14443.
From August 15th to 17th, the on-demand taxi on line 910 will run hourly during the day and at regular times from 8 PM. On these days, the bus stops "Wildensorger Straße" to "Wildensorg Mitte" in both directions can only be served by the on-demand taxi.
On August 20th, a special schedule will be in effect for line 910 due to the construction site and Sandkerwa setup. The on-demand taxi will run hourly during the day and at regular times from 8 PM. The stops "Jakobsplatz" to "Eichelseeweg" can only be reached by on-demand taxi in both directions on this day.
On the outbound trip on August 20th, the stops "Lange Straße" to "Domschule" cannot be served on line 910. On the return trip on the same day, the stops "Domschule" and "Domplatz" will be omitted. It is recommended to bypass via Kaulberg to reach the city center.
Motorized traffic and cyclists from Wildensorg will be detoured via Rothofleite, St.-Getreu-Straße, and Am Bundleshof. Cyclists and motorized traffic coming from Jakobsberg will be detoured in the reverse order. Pedestrians can pass through the construction site.
Detailed departure times for each day can be found on local posters or by contacting the VGN information service, www.vgn.de. Signage will be in place on Federal Highway 22 to indicate the closure of Wildensorger Street.
The transport companies affected by the construction site on Wildensorger Street from August 13 to 20, 2025, are the local bus and tram services operating in that area. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage passengers to plan their journeys accordingly.
