Tragic loss announced: 5-year-old child perishes following bolt into storm drain, family confirms
In a heartbreaking incident, a 5-year-old girl named Zaria Miller lost her life in Florida. The accident occurred under the supervision of her grandmother.
According to reports from WWSB, a local news station in Florida, through Gray Local Media, Inc., Zaria was playing near a storm drain when heavy rains caused a water main to break at a construction site. The increased water flow created more suction in a culvert, pulling Zaria into the drain.
The incident took place when Zaria was found floating face up in fast-moving water, approximately 200 yards west of her last known location. Rescuers made every effort to save her, but unfortunately, she did not survive.
The source of this information confirms that Zaria Miller's death was caused by being swept into a storm drain. A 911 call was made by her grandmother immediately following the accident.
An update on a GoFundMe page for Zaria Miller was published on a Thursday, stating that she has passed away and is now with Jesus. The location of the GoFundMe page is not specified, but it was organized by a friend of the family.
In light of this unfortunate event, it has been confirmed that no charges will be filed in connection with Zaria Miller's death.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Zaria's family and friends during this difficult time. The community is coming together to support them, and we hope that they find comfort and strength in the outpouring of love and support.
