In a recent incident at Münster Central Station, a 20-year-old man was secured by the Federal Police after a passenger on a high-speed train from Dortmund to Münster notified them about the man carrying a weapon.

Upon arrival at Münster Central Station, the Federal Police received the man and initiated a search. During this search, they found a soft-air pistol and a combat knife on the man. Both the soft-air pistol and the combat knife were secured by the Federal Police.

The general decree for Münster Central Station, in effect until December 23rd, 2024, prohibits the carrying of dangerous objects at certain times. Prohibited items include knives, box cutters, baseball bats, and toy guns without a permit. Violations of this decree can result in a ban from the premises or a fine of 200 euros.
