Preferred sleeping quarters? We opted to transform our house's top floor into a bedroom some years ago. It now presents as a somewhat eclectic, personalized space.

Transforming my bedroom with Bemz for a cozy upgrade

In the heart of Sweden, nestled amidst the tranquil woods, lies a peaceful little cabin that serves as a haven for its owner. This cosy retreat, the subject of our latest post, is a testament to the charm of slow living and the beauty of Scandinavian design.

The bedroom, adorned in a warm, earthy colour scheme of Chestnut, is the perfect sanctuary. The bed, dressed in a bedspread made from Rosendal Pure Washed Linen in Unbleached, features an Urban Loose Fit style that adds a touch of simplicity and elegance. The bedspread, with its exposed seams and lining, complements the cabin's rustic charm.

A bed skirt, also in Rosendal Pure Washed Linen but in Absolute White, is used to hide under-bed storage and other items, maintaining the minimalist aesthetic of the room.

The Söderhamn one seat section, with its Urban Loose Fit cover in Rosendal Pure Washed Linen - Unbleached, is a versatile addition to the bedroom. Its noticeable seams and cosy design make it an ideal armchair for reading or relaxing. It also serves as a perfect companion for 'Fika' at home, adding a touch of comfort to the space.

The Söderhamn 1 seat section, with its Malmen Velvet Chestnut cover, finds its place in the window nook, adding a touch of luxury to the room.

The styling for this post was done by Genevieve Jorn, a renowned stylist in the Scandinavian design world. The photography and production were expertly handled by Niki Brantmark of My Scandinavian Home.

It's worth mentioning that this bedroom makeover is a part of a larger transformation, which includes an earlier landing makeover with an IKEA hack. This post is a paid collaboration with Bemz and contains affiliate links.
