The Ironman 70.3 event made a triumphant return to its original location this year, as the Sports Park played host to the challenging triathlon once more. Last year, the event was relocated to the inner harbor due to construction work on the regatta course.

This year, however, the hard work and dedication of the World Triathlon Corporation (WTC) paid off, as construction work on the regatta course was completed, enabling the return of the Ironman 70.3 event to its original location.

The event, which took place on Sunday, saw participants undertake a gruelling challenge. The swimming distance for competitors was 1.9 km, followed by a 90 km cycle and a 21 km run. The finish line for the event was in the MSV Arena, providing a thrilling conclusion to the day's events.

The Ironman 70.3 event was not held at its original location last year, with the inner harbor stepping in to host the event. But this year, the Sports Park was once again the perfect venue for the challenging triathlon.

The Ironman 70.3 events this year were organized by the WTC, which holds the commercial rights and licenses for the Ironman 70.3 series worldwide. The corporation's hard work and dedication ensured that the event ran smoothly and that participants were able to enjoy the challenge in the best possible conditions.

Overall, the return of the Ironman 70.3 event to its original location was a cause for celebration.
