Two entities, Esaote North America and Epica International, have joined forces in a strategic collaboration.

In a significant move to broaden their product offerings in the medical imaging sector, Esaote North America and Epica International have announced a strategic partnership.

Epica International, the parent company of Epica Human Health, is well-known for its CT systems. With this partnership, Epica's CT systems will be distributed to a wider range of U.S. hospitals, specialty practices, and veterinary facilities through Esaote's extensive sales and service network.

The partnership will also make Epica's CT systems available to a broader market, thanks to Esaote's distribution channels. Epica International's CT systems will be integrated into Esaote's product portfolio, allowing for joint marketing and sales of these systems alongside Esaote's existing MRI, ultrasound, and CT imaging solutions.

Esaote North America, on the other hand, offers a wide range of MRI, ultrasound, and CT imaging solutions. The partnership will see Esaote North America incorporating Epica International's CT imaging systems into its offerings, thereby expanding its product range.

The partnership will also involve coordinated sales efforts and joint marketing and sales strategies. Additionally, both companies will engage in joint marketing initiatives to promote their combined product offerings in the human and veterinary imaging markets.

Notably, Epica International also owns Imaginalis, which serves the veterinary market. This partnership will provide integrated support for combined product offerings in both the human and veterinary imaging markets.

Patrick Schwarz-Schütte, the managing director of Epica International, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating that it will benefit from Epica's important products and services related to branding and marketing.

This strategic partnership is set to expand human and veterinary imaging offerings, making advanced medical imaging solutions more accessible to a wider audience.
