Two young females, aged 21, encountered a tragic accident. They were struck by a vehicle outside a shopping center, resulting in the death of one victim and injuries to the other. Two suspects have since been taken into custody following the incident.

The West Midlands Police are currently investigating two separate incidents that have occurred in the past few days.

In Sutton Coldfield, a tragic incident occurred outside Gracechurch Shopping Centre yesterday evening, shortly before midnight. A car crashed into two pedestrians, resulting in the death of a 21-year-old woman at the scene. A 16-year-old boy was also seriously injured, and another woman sustained a leg injury, which is not believed to be life-threatening.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. The incident is being investigated by West Midlands Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, with Detective Sergeant Paul Hughes leading the investigation. The police are appealing for any dashcam or doorbell footage, as well as any information from witnesses who were driving near the scene or in the surrounding streets before or after the collision.
