U.S. authorities receive American woman allegedly involved in drug smuggling, escorted by National Guard and AEI to the borderline in Mexico.

U.S. authorities receive American woman, previously accused of drug trafficking, accompanied by the National Guard and AEI, at the Mexico-U.S. border following her extradition.

In a significant development, the State Investigation Agency (AEI) in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico, carried out a joint operation with U.S. authorities that led to the arrest of two men and the seizure of a substantial amount of a suspected narcotic substance.

On September 6, Victor Manuel M. A. and Adrián Gerardo M. A. were apprehended in the Nuevo Hipódromo neighbourhood, at the intersection of Jiménez and Santa Bárbara streets. The seized substance, weighing approximately half a kilo, was later identified as cocaine.

The operation was part of an ongoing collaboration scheme between Mexican and U.S. authorities, involving the Chihuahua State Attorney General's Office (FGE), the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Strategic Operations (AEI), the National Institute of Migration (INM), and the National Guard.

The detainees and the seized drug were handed over to the North District Prosecutor's Office for further investigation into health-related crimes. The arrest and seizure are not directly related to the repatriation of a U.S. citizen, Kasey S., who was also part of the operation.

Kasey S., a 44-year-old individual wanted by U.S. authorities, was wanted in connection with narcotics importation and organized crime activities. Following the operation, Kasey S. was repatriated to the U.S., escorted across the Lerdo International Bridge.

The repatriation of Kasey S. is expected to strengthen the security and justice collaboration relationship between Mexico and the United States, particularly in the fight against drug trafficking and transnational criminal structures.

The operation reaffirms the institution's commitment to binational collaboration and participation in the fight and eradication of high-impact crimes. It is important to note that, to date, there is no publicly available information that Kasey S. has been arrested by U.S. authorities on suspicion of drug importation and organized crime; her case is not documented in current law enforcement reporting or verified German news sources.

The arrest and seizure were made by agents from the strategic operations center (COE). The handover of Kasey S. was carried out under strict security measures as part of binational cooperation mechanisms between Mexico and the United States. Once on U.S. soil, Kasey S. was handed over to American officials.

This event marks another step in the ongoing efforts by Mexican authorities to combat organized crime and maintain a strong partnership with U.S. authorities in the fight against transnational criminal activities.
