Rocking the Gambling World: BetBlocker's Expansion in the U.S.
U.S. expansion of BetBlocker, a gambling self-exclusion tool, announced ahead of PGAM
Pack your bags, problem gambling, because BetBlocker is here to take the reins! Known as the lifesaver for vulnerable and at-risk gamblers worldwide, this charity just announced its grand entry into the U.S. market.
BetBlocker: A New Sheriff in Town
With a mission to offer self-exclusion tools and responsible gambling services, BetBlocker's U.S.-focused arm will shield locals from the perils of gambling-related harm.
This charity, already a powerhouse in the UK, Europe, and beyond, strides into the U.S., a land where gambling has been growing swiftly, along with its associated problems.
As call volumes to gambling helplines escalate, BetBlocker arrives as a knight in shining armor. It empowers players to enroll in self-exclusion programs and connects them to valuable resources on gambling-related issues, all geared towards responsible play.
Raising the Curtain on a new Era
With its recent registration as a 501(c) Non-profit Organization in Delaware, BetBlocker anticipates expansion across North America, and, of course, the U.S. A multilingual approach with offerings in English, Spanish, and soon Chinese, positions BetBlocker as a critical player in the U.S. market.
Words from the Founder
Duncan Garvie, BetBlocker's Founder and Trustee, is elated about this fresh milestone:
"BetBlocker's groundbreaking support has been minimizing harm for countless individuals across the globe for nearly a decade now. By establishing the U.S. branch of our charity, we aim to increase the service's visibility in North America and support tens of thousands more people in the coming years."
Garvie emphasizes his determination to reduce gambling harm and create barriers that halt the descent into destructive habits, offering the necessary support.
"I'm optimistic that, in the coming years, we will be a beacon of hope for hundreds of thousands of people across the North American continent, who otherwise would find it challenging to manage their gambling," Garvie shared.
Previously, BetBlocker expanded its reach by launching the Italian-language version of its tool, and March, being Problem Gambling Awareness Month in the U.S., adds to the significance of this launch.
