Unauthorized Access to Office Building Leads to Dangerous Disruption of Railway Services and Fatal Motorcycle Incident
In the past week, several unusual incidents have taken place across the German state of Hesse. From burglaries to accidents and physical altercations, the local police forces have been busy dealing with these occurrences.
On Saturday, 30th August 2025, an attempted burglary occurred at a warehouse in 61440 Oberursel (Taunus), Gablonzer Straße. The perpetrators, who gained access through a window, smashed glass panes with fire extinguishers, vandalized the interior, and stole electronic devices. However, they were unable to enter the warehouse and abandoned their attempt, fleeing the scene. Anyone with information about this burglary is asked to contact the Oberursel police station at 06171 6240-0.
Between 8th and 11th August 2025, a burglary occurred at an office building in 61440 Oberursel, Zimmersmühlenweg. The estimated property damage from this burglary is 2,000 euros.
On the same day, 30th August 2025, a fatal motorcycle accident occurred on the K728 (Heisterbachstraße) near Neu-Anspach. The motorcyclist was initially taken to the hospital with severe injuries, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Witnesses to the accident are asked to contact the Usingen police station at (06081) 9208-0.
Earlier on the same day, at 01:50 AM, an attempted burglary of a warehouse occurred in the same region, 61279 Grävenwiesbach. The county road was fully closed for several hours during the rescue operations, and a rescue helicopter was also deployed.
On Sunday, 21st August 2025, at 01:50 AM, a physical altercation occurred at a fair event in Glashütten-Oberems, Frankfurter Straße. The visitor assaulted a 26-year-old security guard and fled the scene. The suspect is described as a man approximately 35 years old, around 190 cm tall with a slim build and a German appearance.

In a separate incident on 30th August 2025, at 03:15 PM, there was a case of dangerous interference with rail traffic at the train station in 61279 Grävenwiesbach. The details of this incident are currently under investigation.
