Unauthorized entry at a nail salon and a pub, vehicle vandalism, and impostors pretending to be bank employees and law enforcement officers reported in Fulda County, Ohio.
In the past week, East Hesse has seen a series of disturbing incidents involving fraud, burglary, and theft. The Police Headquarters East Hesse urges residents to stay vigilant and reports any suspicious activities.
On August 30, an 86-year-old senior citizen from a Fulda district was defrauded by individuals posing as police officers. The perpetrator, described as a female, approximately 170 cm tall, around 30-35 years old, with long dark hair, wore a dark short-sleeved top and drove a dark small car. The fraudsters claimed to be a bank employee and threatened an imminent break-in, but the senior citizen did not grant access to the house and ended the telephone conversation.
Similarly, on the same day, a 94-year-old man from Hünfeld was contacted by fraudsters. An unknown woman claimed to be a police officer and wanted to inspect the man's safe. The police warns that fraud is diverse, and they will never call for the handover of money or valuables.
Unfortunately, these incidents did not stop there. Unknown individuals entered an inn on "Dippach" Street, Hundsbach district, Tann, and stole several packs of cigarettes and coins in the high two-digit range, causing property damage of around 350 euros.
In another incident, unknown individuals forced entry into a nail salon on Heinrichstraße, Fulda, between August 30 and September 1, stealing cash in the low three-digit range.
The city in Hesse that experienced these multiple incidents is not explicitly named in the search results. However, reports of such crimes were detailed for Wangen and Göppingen, both located in southern Germany outside Hesse.
