In an exciting development, Chinese electric vehicle brand Zeekr has unveiled a special edition of its popular model, the Zeekr 001, named the Zeekr 001 FR. The news was shared on the brand's Instagram account.

The Zeekr 001 FR boasts a new front bumper with aggressive air intakes, a front spoiler, and a striking red stripe, giving it a sportier look. Inside, the vehicle features a new LCD instrument panel that resembles a semicircle, and the seats sport a new pattern. The center tunnel and door card have also been adjusted in style.

The Zeekr 001 FR will also come with a new version of software, as indicated by the screen layout. Additionally, an optional LiDAR sensor will be available on the roof of the vehicle.

While the exact price of the Zeekr 001 FR has not been revealed yet, Zeekr has announced that it will cost over 1 million yuan (138,700 USD). More details about the pricing are expected to be released soon.

The Zeekr 001 FR's rear end showcases a sporty diffuser, triangular-shaped reflectors, and more sharp lines and angles, adding to its aggressive design.

The Zeekr 001, which is already in mass-production in China, has a starting price of 55,940 EUR (61,020 USD) in Europe. Meanwhile, the Zeekr 9X, another model from the brand, started presales in China for 67,080 USD.

The 100-kWh battery option for the Zeekr 001 provides a range of 741 km (CLTC) in the RWD-version and 656 km with 4WD. On the other hand, the 140-kWh battery offers a range of 1,032 km (CLTC), but it comes with rear-wheel drive only.

Zeekr, which is behind the Zeekr 001 FR, is part of the Geely Group. The market launch of the Zeekr 001 in Germany is expected in 2025. The brand is also planning to start sales in Israel and Kazakhstan soon.

The Zeekr 9X, another model from the brand, adopts Naim audio, previously exclusive to Bentley. This high-end audio system promises an exceptional audio experience for passengers.
