The Police Directorate Bad Segeberg is investigating a burglary that occurred at a residential building in Schützenstraße, Kaltenkirchen, on August 26, 2025.

Unknown perpetrators stole high-value wristwatches and 200 euros in cash during the early hours of the morning. The burglary took place around 2:30 AM, and the perpetrators encountered the homeowner.

According to the police, both perpetrators were masked and estimated to be between 30 and 40 years old. One of the males was described as taller than 185cm and slimmer, while the other was shorter than 175cm and plump.

The perpetrators spoke broken German with an Eastern European accent. They fled via the rear terrace towards Wiesenhofstraße after the encounter with the homeowner.

The Criminal Police in Bad Segeberg are appealing for witnesses and are asking for any information related to the burglary, including indications of a vehicle used by the perpetrators. At present, there are no specific details about which cars the perpetrators might have used during the break-in. The police are asking for any witness reports or suspicious vehicle sightings related to the case.
