The incident unfolded when the 45-year-old parked his vehicle behind a fuel pump where another vehicle was being refueled. An unknown person, driving a red Opel Astra with an Euskirchen license plate, approached the 45-year-old's vehicle and shouted at him. The unknown individual then kicked the rear of the 45-year-old's car and struck the side window several times.
The unknown person's actions caused damage to the 45-year-old's car. The unknown individual then insulted the driver before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction. However, a witness approached, and the unknown person fled, making a search for the individual in the vicinity unsuccessful.
The Criminal Police Department Euskirchen has initiated investigations into the incident. The identity of the unknown individual is not publicly disclosed. A report has been filed regarding the property damage and insults.
