Uninsured Electric Scooter Accident in POL-PILAN
In Ramstein-Miesenbach, a traffic accident involving an E-scooter occurred near the local cemetery around 03:00 on Wednesday night. The incident left a 52-year-old man injured, and he was taken to the hospital.
According to the investigation by the Landstuhl police station, the E-scooter was not insured. A juvenile rider is being investigated for this offence, and there are also suspicions that the rider may have been in possession of stolen goods.
The police have confiscated the E-scooter and will be filing charges for the lack of insurance. The nature and extent of the man's injuries have not been specified.
