United Kingdom Witnesses Third Takeover by Apleona
In a strategic move to strengthen its position in integrated facility management and technical services, Apleona, a leading European provider, has made three significant acquisitions.
The first of these acquisitions was Corrigenda, a technical facility management company based in Fareham, southeastern England. This acquisition took place in August 2021. Founded in the year 2000, Corrigenda has approximately 200 employees and specialises in providing technical services, energy management, and maintenance and installation services for mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. The company focuses on serving the public sector, education, and local authorities.
Apleona's COO, Michael Engel, stated that the company will continue to expand its European platform through acquisitions, aiming to achieve a leading market position in Europe.
Following the acquisition of Corrigenda, Apleona made another strategic move by acquiring the JCW Group Limited (JCW) in Royston in September 2022. Just like Corrigenda, JCW specialises in technical facility management.
Prior to these UK acquisitions, Apleona had already made its mark in Ireland and other countries. The acquisitions form part of Apleona's broader strategy to expand its footprint in Europe.
Interestingly, Apleona had previously participated in Combined Technical Solutions (CTS) in London and Manchester in September 2022. However, no new information about the size of Corrigenda's workforce was provided in this paragraph.
With these acquisitions, Apleona is poised to deliver even more comprehensive and efficient facility management services across Europe. The company's goal remains clear: to achieve a leading market position in Europe through acquisitions.
