Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights 2022: A Terrifying Encounter with Art The Clown

This autumn, Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights returns to both Orlando and Los Angeles, and one of the most anticipated experiences is the Terrifier-themed event. The event runs through the spookiest holiday of the year, ending on November 2.

The Terrifier house will feature extreme fake blood spray, fake bleach, and even a smell of feces, promising a horrifying and disgusting experience. The role of Art The Clown, the terrifying antagonist from the Terrifier series, will be played by David Howard Thornton, who describes himself as a "puncher."

Thornton has offered advice on surviving the experience, advising against becoming an impromptu pugilist when scared in a haunted house. Instead, he suggests making a "Bravery Sandwich" with friends when going through a haunted house to minimize the chances of getting targeted by performers. People in the middle of a group are less likely to freak out and are thus safer from performers' attention.

Performers are more likely to go after the first and last people walking through in a group, so it's best to stick together. Attendees at Universal Studios Hollywood are guaranteed to be drenched, so it's recommended to wear appropriate clothing.

The improvements made to the fan-favorite HHN house are blowing Thornton away, and the experience will feature "The Best Of Art The Clown" from the films, as well as some original content for fans.
