Unlicensed Driving Leads to Arrest in BPOLI MD
On the evening of July 15, 2025, a significant development took place at Halle (Saale) Central Station. A 22-year-old Iraqi man, who had travelled from Leipzig, was taken into custody by the Federal Police officers.
The arrest was confirmed by the Halle (Saale) District Court, following a ticket check that revealed his single-journey ticket had expired. Suspecting fraud, the Federal Police were contacted, and upon showing the arrest warrant, the man was taken to the station at the central station.
Upon arrival, a check of the man's personal data in the police information system revealed that the Public Prosecutor's Office in Nuremberg-FΓΌrth had been searching for him since June 2025 on suspicion of counterfeiting money. The relevant authority was informed about the arrest.
