Sigma Unveils Three New Full-Frame Mirrorless Lenses
Sigma, a renowned name in the photography industry, has announced the launch of three new full-frame mirrorless lenses. These lenses are designed for both L-mount and Sony E-mount systems, expanding the company's range of high-quality optics.
The first lens in the lineup is the Sigma 35mm f/1.2 DG II | Art, a refined version of the original Sigma 35mm F1.2 DG DN | Art. This lens features 17 elements in 13 groups, including 4 FLD and 2 aspherical elements. It boasts a minimum aperture of F16 and a maximum diameter x length of φ111.7mm x 135.5mm / φ4.4in. x 5.3in. The lens also comes with a filter size of φ105mm and a minimum focusing distance of 110cm / 43.4in. The Sigma 35mm f/1.2 DG II | Art is priced at $1,549 / £1,299 and has 13 diaphragm blades with a rounded diaphragm.
The second lens is the new Sigma 135mm f/1.4 DG | Art, the only AF lens of its kind at this focal length and aperture. This lens stands out with its minimum aperture of F22 and a maximum diameter x length of φ121.5mm x 207.3mm / φ4.8in. x 8.1in. The lens also features a filter size of φ105mm and a minimum focusing distance of 85cm / 33.5in. The Sigma 135mm f/1.4 DG | Art is priced at $1,899 / £1,649.
The third lens is the world's first high-power 20-200mm zoom lens for full-frame mirrorless, the Sigma 20-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DG | Contemporary. This versatile lens has 18 elements in 14 groups, including 1 FLD, 3 SLD, and 4 aspherical elements. It offers a minimum aperture of F22-40 and a maximum diameter x length of φ77.2mm x 115.5mm / 3.0in. x 4.5in. The lens also comes with a filter size of φ72mm and a minimum focusing distance of 16.5cm / 6.5in. at f=28mm; 25cm(W) - 65cm(T) / 9.9in.(W) - 25.6in.(T) for other focal lengths. The Sigma 20-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DG | Contemporary is priced at $999 / £799.
