Upcoming Clash between India and UAE in the Asia Cup 2025: Top Scores, Highest Runs and Wickets - Important Statistics before Match 2

The second match of the ACC Asia Cup 2025 will see India defending their title against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 10. This encounter will be a repeat of the only T20I match between the two teams, which India won by nine wickets back in 2016.

In that historic match, India set a target of 82/1 in 10.1 overs, with Rohit Sharma leading the charge with 39 runs off 26 balls. Rohan Mustafa was the top scorer for UAE with 11 off 22 balls.

The highest scorer for UAE in the match was Shaiman Anwar, who scored 43 runs off 48 balls. Rohit Sharma was also the highest scorer for India in the return leg, with Yuvraj Singh hitting one six each, making it two sixes in total for India against UAE in T20Is.

On the bowling front, Harbhajan Singh took 1 wicket for 11 runs, while Yuvraj Singh and Bhuvneshwar Kumar claimed 1 wicket each for 10 and 8 runs respectively. For UAE, Qadeer Ahmed took 1 wicket for 23 runs, with Muhammad Usman contributing 9 runs off 12 balls.

Interestingly, no player from UAE has hit more than one six in T20Is against India. The highest total scored by UAE against India remains 81/9, a stark contrast to India's highest total of 82/1.

The match, which will begin at 8:00 PM IST (6:30 PM local time), will be live-streamed. As the defending champions, India will be aiming for a good start to their title defence against the hosts.

Fans of both teams are eagerly awaiting this much-anticipated clash, hoping to witness another thrilling encounter between these two cricket powerhouses.
