The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G, slated for a global launch in January 2026, is creating quite a buzz in the tech world. Ice Universe, a reliable leaker known for sharing detailed insights about upcoming devices, has provided some exciting information about the camera equipment and hardware upgrades of the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

According to the leaks, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will boast a quad-camera setup. The primary camera is expected to be a 200MP sensor with an F1.4 aperture, promising superior image quality. The super telephoto camera, on the other hand, is rumoured to be a 50MP sensor with an F2.9 aperture, 5x optical zoom, and a higher light intake of 38%. This could potentially deliver stunning close-up shots in various lighting conditions.

The telephoto camera is expected to be a 12MP sensor with an F2.4 aperture and 3x optical zoom, while the ultrawide camera is tipped to be a 50MP sensor with an F1.9 aperture. These specifications suggest a versatile photography experience, catering to a wide range of photography needs.

Powering the Galaxy S26 Ultra is the 3nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, ensuring smooth performance and efficient power management.

India is anticipated to receive the Galaxy S26 Ultra around the same time as the global launch. The expected starting price for the base variant of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G in India is approximately Rs 1,59,990. This price point positions the device as a premium offering in the Indian market.

The primary camera of the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to capture 47% more light compared to its predecessor, which could result in better low-light photography. The device might also feature a 5,000mAh battery with 60W fast charging support, ensuring long battery life and quick recharging.
