Updated 2025 Ather 450 Apex: Fresh Features Unveiled. Read More for Details

Ather Energy, a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, has announced updates to its popular Apex electric scooter. The update includes a new software layer, Ather Stack 7, which brings a host of new features and improvements to the scooter.

The Ather 450 Apex, priced at ₹ 1.90 Lakhs, retains its top speed of 100 kmph and its certified range of 157 kilometres. The Apex model remains mechanically unchanged, retaining a 7 kW motor and 3.7 kWh battery. However, with the introduction of Ather Stack 7, the scooter now offers over-the-air updates, making them more reliable.

One of the key features of Ather Stack 7 is Infinite Cruise, a cruise control system designed to adapt to real-world conditions. This system allows the scooter to maintain a steady pace during frequent adjustments in traffic, reducing the need for constant throttle and brake inputs, making rides less fatiguing. On inclines, Infinite Cruise provides extra support by managing torque uphill and offering controlled regenerative braking on the way down.

Another new feature is Crawl Control, which holds the scooter at a slow 10 km/h to navigate rough roads, slippery roads, or congested lanes. This feature can be activated through the reverse button on the handlebar.

The Apex model also continues to use the Magic Twist throttle system, which incorporates regenerative braking to slow the scooter. This system not only helps in energy recovery but also provides a smooth and responsive ride.

Google Maps integration in Ather Stack 7 has been improved to reduce lag, providing smoother navigation. The 7-inch TFT touchscreen now offers quicker screen responses and more intuitive menu layouts, enhancing the overall user experience.

The design of the Apex model, with its sharp lines and aggressive stance, remains unchanged. However, the scooter now offers improved voice guidance, making it more natural to use.

In addition to the Apex model, Ather Energy also offers the 450S, 450 Apex, 450x, and Rizta scooters. The 450S and 450 Apex can reach speeds of 90 kmph, priced at ₹84,341 and ₹ 1.49 Lakhs respectively. The Rizta model can reach 80 kmph, priced at ₹75,999.

With these updates, Ather Energy continues to push the boundaries of electric mobility, offering a seamless and enjoyable riding experience.
