The latest iteration of the Volkswagen T-Roc has been unveiled, boasting a host of new features and improvements. Here's a rundown of what you can expect from the new model.

Comfort and Luxury

Starting from the Life trim level, the T-Roc now offers real leather seats with massage functionality, adding an extra touch of luxury to your driving experience. The front center armrest is adjustable in height and length, providing comfort for long journeys, and comes with a large storage compartment underneath.

Space and Aerodynamics

Despite a 28 mm increase in wheelbase, the rear seats of the new T-Roc offer good space for two adults. The vehicle's aerodynamics have also been improved, with a best case of 0.29 Cd, ensuring a smooth and efficient ride. This focus on efficiency is reflected in the trunk capacity, which has increased by 20 liters compared to its predecessor, now offering 465 liters.

Technology and Customization

The instrument cluster in the T-Roc is always digital and highly customizable, allowing you to tailor the display to your preferences. A standard 10.4-inch touchscreen comes as standard, with a larger 12.9-inch option available. The volume control on the center console can also change driving modes, giving you control over your driving experience.

Headlights and Transmission

The new T-Roc will offer three headlight variants, with the Matrix light having a special high beam module. The vehicle is only available with a DSG transmission, ensuring smooth and efficient power delivery.

Hybrid Options

For those seeking a more eco-friendly driving experience, the fully hybrid versions of the T-Roc will be available starting in 2026. These will feature two power outputs of 136 PS (100 kW) and 170 PS (125 kW), with front-wheel drive. Mild-hybrid versions will launch earlier in late 2025. Two full hybrid variants are expected to arrive around mid-2026, with the first variant boasting a system output of up to 170 PS and 306 Newton meters.

The T-Roc R

For those seeking more power, the new T-Roc R is expected to have around 350 PS, with the 4Motion all-wheel-drive system mandatory for this variant.

Quality Finish

The dashboard of the new T-Roc has a high-quality finish and minimal use of hard plastic, giving a feel of a higher class. A LED light in the glove compartment is also a standard feature, setting the T-Roc apart in this segment.

Overall, the new Volkswagen T-Roc offers a combination of comfort, technology, and efficiency, making it an attractive choice for those seeking a compact SUV. With the addition of hybrid options and the powerful T-Roc R, Volkswagen has ensured that the T-Roc caters to a wide range of drivers. The new model is 4,373 millimeters in total length, making it only five centimeters shorter than the first VW Tiguan produced until 2018. The new T-Roc is expected to be available soon.
