USA Patriots Resume Play in North Alabama: Softball, Assistance, and Power
On Saturday, September 13th, Toyota Field will host a special event that's more than just a game. The USA Patriots, America's Amputee Softball Team composed of current and former service members who have lost limbs in service to their country, will take on AUSA Redstone-Huntsville.
The event is organized by the Young Professionals of the AUSA Redstone-Huntsville Chapter and is part of a larger day that includes the Rocket City Trash Pandas game. Gates for the USA Patriots game will open at 3:30 p.m., with the game starting at 4:05 p.m., followed by the Trash Pandas game, with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. and the first pitch at 6:35 p.m.
The USA Patriots continue to serve by inspiring others and showing what it means to overcome adversity with courage. Their weeklong Kids Camp, a free programme for children with limb differences, helps build confidence, community, and a belief in their own potential.
Phoenix - Huntsville Rehabilitation Foundation, Inc., the game's presenting sponsor, is a longtime advocate for inclusive opportunities and community rehabilitation. Attendees can look forward to a meet & greet/autographs session with USA Patriots players on the concourse during the Trash Pandas game.
All proceeds from the event will go directly to support the USA Patriots Kids Camp. Tickets for the USA Patriots game can be purchased at this link.
This event is a celebration of service, sacrifice, and resilience, and a chance to support a worthy cause while enjoying a day of sports and entertainment. We hope to see you there!
