The third edition of the IG Metall Training Fair, a joint event by the Business Units Koblenz and Neuwied, took place on September 3, 2025, at the Sayner Hut in Bendorf. Over a thousand young guests, many of whom arrived by bus, attended the fair, which aimed to help companies find skilled workers for the future while highlighting the benefits of collective agreements.

A diverse information and framework program was offered, including interactive workshops, a job application check, and a photo booth for professional application photos. The fair showcased opportunities for technical and commercial training occupations, as well as dual study programs, attracting a range of participating companies.

KG, Novelis Koblenz GmbH, thyssenkrupp Rasselstein GmbH, Spie SAG, Stabilus GmbH, BW Converting GmbH, ZF Friedrichshafen AG, and ZF Active Safety GmbH were among the companies that exhibited at the fair.

The event was also attended by ten schools from the region, and a VIP tour took place in the morning, which included politicians such as State Secretary Dr. Denis Alt, Minister Tanja Machalet, and members of the German Bundestag.
