Vehicle Accident: Sustains Minor Injuries in a Hit-and-Run Incident
In an incident that took place on Friday, April 29th, a rear-end collision occurred on the L336 near the "Ohlerhammer" roundabout in Gummersbach, Germany. The collision involved a Ford and a VW, according to the Kreispolizeibehörde Oberbergischer Kreis, a regional police department in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The drivers of both vehicles, residents of Wiehl, were 20 and 23 years old. The 23-year-old was travelling towards Oberwiehl at the time of the collision. The 20-year-old's car was no longer roadworthy after the incident and had to be towed away.
Despite the collision, both drivers sustained only slight injuries. However, the Kreispolizeibehörde Oberbergischer Kreis did not specify the current condition of the drivers involved in the accident.
The police department also did not provide any details about the cause of the accident, nor did they mention whether any charges were filed in connection with it. They did, however, confirm that they are currently investigating the incident.
