Venture company Spintop bolsters Nordic growth through the establishment of a new Danish branch and the addition of a new executive leader

Swedish venture capital firm, Spintop Ventures, has announced its expansion into Denmark with a permanent presence in Copenhagen. This move comes as Denmark is emerging as a strategic priority for investors, particularly in sectors such as climate tech, SaaS, and digital health.

Jasenko Hadzic, a seasoned venture capitalist with over a decade of experience, has been appointed as Principal in Spintop Ventures' Copenhagen office. Hadzic brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table, having previously worked at Nordic VC BackingMinds, where he led investments in SaaS, cybersecurity, and energy.

Hadzic is no stranger to the Danish startup ecosystem, having co-founded a fast-scaling startup and community initiatives such as The Investor Series, CPHFTW, Angel Next, and the Nordic Startup Conference. His passion for the Nordic region is evident, as he expressed his excitement about joining Spintop Ventures, where a founder mentality and hands-on approach are prioritized.

Sami Niemi, Partner at Spintop Ventures, stated that Hadzic is well-known in the Danish ecosystem and praised his passion for the region. Niemi added that Hadzic will be based in Copenhagen, working closely with Senior Advisor Mads Mikkelsen at Spintop Ventures.
