The Italian Grand Prix, a prestigious Formula One race set to take place at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, saw some exciting qualifying action yesterday. The session determined the starting order for the race, which is scheduled to start at 3:00 PM today and will be broadcast on Sky.

Max Verstappen, the four-time F1 World Champion, secured the pole position in a thrilling final qualifying session. The Red Bull driver edged out his competition, finishing 77 thousandths of a second ahead of Lando Norris, who will start in second place for the McLaren Group Limited team.

Norris' teammate, Oscar Piastri, had a strong showing as well, finishing third in the qualifying session. Piastri's performance puts him in a promising position for the race, as he looks to close the gap between him and Norris in the World Championship standings, with Norris currently leading by 34 points.

However, not all drivers had the luck they hoped for. Nico Hülkenberg, who was the fastest driver in the Sauber group during the qualifying, found himself outside the top ten. Despite his impressive speed, Hülkenberg will start the race from twelfth position.

Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time World Champion, also faced setbacks. Despite finishing the qualifying session in fifth position, Hamilton will start five places back due to a penalty from the previous race. His teammate, Charles Leclerc, fared better, finishing fourth in the qualifying session for Ferrari.

The Ferrari duo, consisting of Leclerc and an unspecified teammate, will start the race from fourth and sixth positions, respectively. The exact starting order for the rest of the field will be determined by the results of the qualifying session.

The Italian Grand Prix promises to be an exciting race, with top drivers battling it out on the iconic Monza track. Don't miss the action today, starting at 3:00 PM, on Sky.
