Victoria's Secret Posts Strong Second-Quarter Results, Raising Full-Year Revenue Guidance

Victoria's Secret has announced its second-quarter results, which might provide a temporary respite for the activist investors who have been pressuring the company. The lingerie giant reported a revenue of $1.46 billion for the quarter, marking a 2.8% increase, and exceeding analyst expectations on both the top and bottom lines.

The company's adjusted non-GAAP earnings per share for the second quarter stood at $0.33, a significant improvement from the estimated $0.20. Comparable-store sales also saw a 4% increase, indicating a positive trend in consumer demand.

Following these impressive results, Victoria's Secret has raised its full-year revenue guidance. The company now expects to generate between $6.33 billion and $6.41 billion, up from the previous range of $6.20 billion to $6.30 billion.
