In the heart of Berlin, at Tempelhof Airport, the second race of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship double-header took place on Sunday, 13 July 2025. The race was a tactical affair, with drivers navigating a damp and slowly drying circuit, making use of Attack Mode strategically.

Mitch Evans, starting as the polesitter, secured his 14th first place trophy in this race. The British driver managed some issues with his brakes towards the end of the race, but he held on to the lead, crossing the finish line victorious.

Pascal Wehrlein, Wehrlein's teammate, believed that pace-wise, his team was the quickest in the race. Wehrlein moved up into the lead fight after a strong Attack Mode period and finished second.

Edoardo Mortara, representing Mahindra Racing, claimed third place. Mortara used his Attack Mode strategy effectively to pass several cars after the Safety Car, which was called due to a collision between Sérgio Sette Câmara and David Beckmann.

Jaguar TCS Racing, Mahindra Racing, and TAG Heuer Porsche had representatives on the podium, making it a competitive and exciting race for the fans. Other drivers fighting for podium positions included António Félix da Costa, Robin Frijns, and Jean-Eric Verne.

Unfortunately, Oliver Rowland struggled in the opening laps and was in the bottom half of the top ten by the mid stage of the race. Rowland retired from the race after a spin and damage.

The second race of the Berlin double-header will take place tomorrow (Sunday 13 July). The winner of the first race and the overall winner of the double-header was Jaguar, which achieved double victories in Berlin according to the qualifying report and season momentum context.

As the championship progresses, the competition remains fierce, with drivers and teams fighting for every position. The final race classification, teams championship, manufacturers championship, and drivers championship will be determined in the coming races. Stay tuned for more updates from the world of Formula E.
